Clear answers about availability, booking, coverage and delivery.
How do we check if our wedding date is available?
Complete the Check Your Date form with your date, venue and the coverage you are considering. I will personally reply within 24 hours with availability and the most suitable options for your day.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Once I have confirmed that your date is available, I will send you a simple contract and details for the €100 booking deposit. Your date is secured when the signed contract and deposit are received. Please wait for availability confirmation before paying.
How and when do we pay?
A €100 booking deposit secures your date after availability has been confirmed and the contract has been signed. The remaining balance can be paid before the wedding or on the wedding day, whichever is easier for you.
Can we meet or have a call before we book?
Of course. You can book a free one-to-one consultation to talk through your plans, schedule and any questions. It is a relaxed conversation with no pressure or obligation to book.
How far in advance should we enquire?
It is best to enquire as soon as your venue and wedding date are confirmed, especially for popular Fridays, Saturdays and summer dates. Short-notice enquiries are always welcome when I still have availability.
What if we are not sure what to book?
Tell me what matters most to you and how much of the day you would like covered. I can help you choose photography, video or both, with full-day or shorter coverage. I will only suggest what suits your wedding and what you actually need.
How much of the wedding day do you cover?
Full-day coverage normally begins with preparations and continues until approximately 30 minutes after the first dance. Half-day coverage of up to five hours and shorter civil or intimate wedding options are also available.
Will you help us plan the wedding-day timeline?
Yes. Before the wedding, we will review the schedule together and allow enough time for preparations, family photographs, couple portraits and the important moments of the day. I will also offer practical advice so everything feels relaxed rather than rushed.
Do we need to prepare a list of photographs?
You do not need to list every photograph. I will naturally capture the main moments throughout the day. I only recommend preparing a short list of important family group photographs and telling me about any meaningful people, details or surprises you do not want missed.
How many wedding photographs will we receive?
Most full-day weddings receive around 800–1,000 carefully edited photographs, and many galleries are close to 1,000 images. A smaller or more intimate wedding, a shorter schedule or a smaller guest count may naturally result in slightly fewer. I focus on delivering the complete story without adding duplicate images just to reach a number.
When will we receive our photographs and wedding films?
You will receive a photography sneak peek within 72 hours. Your complete wedding gallery is delivered within 6–8 weeks, and wedding films are delivered within three months. Your final photographs are supplied through a private online gallery for easy viewing, downloading and sharing.
We feel awkward in front of the camera. Will you guide us?
Absolutely. Most couples tell me this before their wedding. My approach is natural and relaxed, with simple guidance when it helps and plenty of space for real moments to happen. Nothing is forced, so you will still look and feel like yourselves.
Do you travel, and what happens if it rains?
Iacob Studio is based in Kildare and covers weddings throughout Ireland. Travel is included with full-day photography coverage, and any exceptional travel costs are agreed before booking.
Rain is never a problem. We can use indoor locations, covered areas or short breaks in the weather, while keeping the plan relaxed and flexible.
